Cancellation/Refunds for Paintings and Prints
You may cancel your order for any reason up to 28 days after you receive the goods (the statutory minimum is 7 days). Please send notice of cancellation to me using the form below and securely wrap and package the goods before shipping, either in the original packaging or a similar equivalent. Once the returned goods have been received and checked, you will be issued a full refund, usually via the same payment method used for purchase (e.g. paypal refund, cheque etc.). I aim to process refunds within 5 working days of receipt.
Once a refund has been issued, the funds will usually take 7 to 10 days to reach your account.
Damage in Transit
Whilst all care is taken to package goods securely occasionally damage may occur during transit. In which case you have the following options:
To request a refund in full.
If the damage is to the frame only I am happy to reimburse the cost of the original framing so that you can have the frame replaced locally. If the damage is to the artwork itself I will issue a full refund once the painting has been returned to me.
Please note that Downloadable products are non-returnable.
Cancellation of Training Courses and Workshops
You can cancel with a 100% refund up to 28 days before the start of the programme.
If you cancel after this date and up to 5 days before the event you will be issued a credit note that can be used towards any other course, coaching or painting. Cancellations made within 5 days of the the course start date a no-refund policy applies.
Lin Cheung reserves to right to cancel or reschedule group programmes if there are fewer than 6 delegates.
In the event of cancellation or rescheduling, Lin Cheung is not liable for any pre-booked travel or accommodation or any other costs incurred.
You will have the option to request a full refund or transfer your booking to the next available date. I aim to process refunds within 5 working days of receipt of your request. Refunds usually take 7 to 10 days to reach your account.
Digital Products
All downloadable products, including Creative Play Lab, are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded. By purchasing, you agree to waive your 14-day cancellation right under UK consumer law. If you have technical issues or believe you’ve made a purchase in error, please contact us using the form below within 14 days and we’ll do our best to help.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund, first check your bank account or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
Shipping costs are non-refundable on the original purchase and will be deducted from your refund.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
