Live Studio Play Session: Loosening Up & Abstract Drawing
Tuesday 2nd December 5.30pm – 7.30pm UK time.
An exploratory low-pressure two-hour session combining a warm-up in instinctive mark-making followed by some simple guided abstract drawing activity. Designed to help you loosen up, explore your materials, and enjoy some focused creative time.
Courses for Developing Artists
Structured learning programmes for artists ready to deepen their work and find direction.
Art Breakthrough is a three and a half day in person course. The course runs twice a year, in Lancaster in Spring and Tunbridge Wells in Autumn. It’s designed to help you break through blocks, silence inner doubt, and take your art to the next level. Through guided exploration and intuitive practice, you’ll uncover new ways of seeing and expressing, opening the door to deeper artistic freedom and authenticity.
Directions in Abstraction is a 10 month online course. This is a course for artists ready to explore the rich terrain of abstract expression. Through playful experimentation and thoughtful guidance, you’ll learn to trust your intuition, refine your visual language, and develop a deeper connection to your creative process. It’s an invitation to let go of rules and discover what abstraction means to you.
Creative Play Lab is a self-paced online course designed to enliven and expand your art-making through playful exploration. With a mix of simple exercises, reflective prompts, and light-touch theory, it offers space to loosen expectations, spark fresh ideas, and reconnect with the joy of creating. It’s an invitation to experiment freely and discover where play might lead you next.
